X To Headline At OC Fair Date
Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Pacific Amphitheater on the OC County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, X with the Henry Rollins Band are scheduled to perform. Tickets are only $20 at the OC Fair box office and they are also offered through Ticketmaster.

Let's just hope the sound isn't as crappy as when X played there with The Plimsouls last Summer. OC Fair Director Of Communications Lisa MacDonald and the Pacific Amphitheater staff tried to conveniently blame it on the band's sound mixer.
Unfortunately, when I saw Roxy Music at The Pac Amp the year before it was the same result. A muddy, distorted sound. Unless Roxy Music and X are both using the same incompetent sound mix person, it stands to reason that the Pac Amp's own house system is at least partially to blame.
My advice, pass on any Pac Amp shows. If you want to hear clear, non-distorted music, try another venue.
